NO LAUNCHERS ??? WTF ? I've been using a mix of lauchers and projectiles.. If you change this i will quit eve i promise.

Please keep 4 Laucher points on the machariel. Thanks.

I couldn't agree more it was fun and awesome. I think angel cartel and serpentis ships should keep their launcher hardpoints just in case. For example Vigilant has one launcher hardpoint. That hardpoint is very usefull if you're being tracking distrupted because at least you can hit the target with that one missile same goes for Machariel. I don't see any problem for keeping these missile hardpoins (you don't get any bonuses for missiles anyway) because if a user decides to use them let him/her use it.

I've been testing the new pirate and navy ships. The thing i don't undestand is that all minmatar ships and angel cartel ships have launcher hard points but machariel doesn't.
Examples: -- Minmatar / Angel Cartel -- New Dramiel has one launcher hard point. New Typhoon Fleet issue has 5 launcher hard points Even the tempest fleet issue has 4 laucher points
-- Gallente / Serpentis -- Vindicator has two launcher hard points Megathron has two launcher hard points Megathron Navy issue has two laucher hard points and even amarr apocalypse navy issue has 2 laucher hard points.
So minmatar is mixed with projectiles/missiles (typhoon proves that) and i can't understand why new machariel has no launcher points same goes for Cynabal. Minmatar players usually have t-2 missiles and t-2 projectiles trained.
So i would like for you to reconsider and re-think about the missile hard points on machariel / minmatar / angel cartel ships.

Val Raijin artillery canons that do long range have problems with tracking speed as they're ment for long range shooting. Because of this for missions i would use a mixed setup between missiles (that can hit a close range target) and long range projectiles. This mix assures that you can destroy ships that are close and the ones that are far same goes for Vindicator / Megathron navy issue .. these missile hard points do exactly that. So the minmatar being a mix of projectiles and missiles it should have at least 4 launcher hard points (typhoon has 5 !). If you're pvp-ing then yes .. close range machariel with only autocanons is way to go but for pve it's good for the mach to have some launchers.
Here's my suggestion Machariel:
̣ Slot layout: 8 high, 5 med, 7 low slots, 7 turrets, 4 Launchers (without any bonuses !) ̣ Fittings: 600 CPU, 17950 powergrid ̣ Bonuses: pirate: 25% bonus to large projectile rate of fire, Minmatar battleship: +5% to large projectile turret damage per level, Gallente battleship: +10% falloff to large projectile turrets per level ̣ Hitpoints: 9317 shields, 9298 armor, 8260 hull ̣ Capacitor: 5800 capacitor, 1154.875s recharge (about 5.02 cap/s) ̣ Dronebay: 100m3 bandwidth, 125m3 dronebay (you can leave it at 75/75 if you wish) ̣ Speed: 161m/s max velocity, 0.084 agility, 94,680,000kg ̣ Sensor: 62km targeting range, 7 locked targets, 150mm scan resolution, 26 ladar sensor strength, 340m signature radius
This way user can fit it for pvp / strictly projectiles or mixed setup with missiles and projectiles.

Well i wouldn't call it a nerf because it has a high damage on the drones. So T-2 Ogres do a nice dps but then again caldari chars usually don't train t-2 drones as they're in missiles and hybrids.. So from that point of view it's a nerf.

Machariel needs few improvements: 1. 4 launcher slots (as it is now on TQ) 2. More powergrid
More powergrid is needed because if you fit only high slots with 7 1400mm howitzer Artillery II it runs out out powergrid. With 1400mm's machariel is an awesome sniper.

hmm.. Perhaps Vindicator deserves 175m3 cargo space for drones as the navy version. How many agree with me ?
